ANALOG AESTHETIC IN A DIGITAL WORLD
My foundation was forged in the late 80s and 90s underground music scene. Joining my first band at 17, and playing in bands over the last 35 years, my work has always been tied directly to music, live venues, and DIY culture. I learned printmaking and layout by necessity, creating t-shirts, cassette covers, vinyl record sleeves, show flyers, et al for a small and somewhat insular underground music and art scene.

Those decades of hands-on experience shaped how I work today. I combine learned Kinkos analog techniques, coarse halftones, tactile paper textures, and hand-drawn lettering, with modern digital workflows.In addition to music packaging and apparel design, I have also worked with numerous small businesses to help them build clean, memorable logos and brand identities that stand out without feeling forced, giving them their own authentic voice.
Living in those venues, clubs, and DIY circuits for over three decades informs every piece I create. The work is a series of one-of-a-kind amalgamations drawn directly from a lifetime of lived experience.
Balancing and blending raw analog soul, technical precision, and authentic character, my design aesthetic isn't meant to match the wallpaper. The work is its own distinct frequency, a legitimate voice rooted in decades of real noise, the hiss above the hum.
